Kery and DarioKery and Dario were  born in the Dominican Republic migrated to the US to the predominant Dominican NYC neighborhood of Washington Heights. They accredit their intensive knowledge and education in Dominican folk and culture to their upbringing in the island and their studies through the Alianza Dominicana’s folkloric troupe in the Heights. Moreover they have performed and taught Dominican Folkloric dance like Palos, Congos, Merengue, Bachata, Cuban Son, Pri-Pri, Sarandunga, in between others. 

They take pride in their study, practice and instruction of other dance genres to both adults and teenagers. Including Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Kizomba, Salsa On1, Salsa On2, Cha-Cha and more. They have performed and help organized dance troupes for parades, and performed as Dominican cultural ambassador nationally as well as in the Dominican Republic. Currently under the tutelage of Tomas Guerrero to complete the legendary Santo Rico Certification.  

Kery and Dario have performed with Diamond Dancers International in Tampa as part of the Red Diamonds, Co-Director of La Fuerza Suncoast dance Team and Co-Owner of DK Dance Creations dance studio, among other teams, collaborations and groups.  

It’s their passion to motivate others to learn about folk and culture to apricate all dance genres and to elevate their understanding of dance and music.
